March 15-April 1, 2018

by Mickle Maher

The morning after a highly inappropriate display of public passion on the lawn, two Blake scholars find themselves in front of their classes, faced with an ultimatum: apologize or else.

Crafted in rhyming pentameter, Happiness “demonstrates [Maher’s] singular ability to push a dry, intellectually rigorous academic exercise so far that it cracks, yielding absurd comedy and searing revelations on the transience of life and love.” --The Chicago Reader
