Land Acknowledgement

The Scoundrel & Scamp Theater acknowledges the space in which we gather to create art and share stories is part of the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Hohokam, Tohono O’odham and the Pascua Yaqui peoples who have enriched the land for thousands of years. We recognize the history and impact of continued injustices against Indigenous peoples, including sustained colonialism. Members of Scoundrel & Scamp strive to be mindful of our own participation.

The Scoundrel & Scamp Theater respects and appreciates the privilege to learn from the abundant lifeways Indigenous peoples have developed through the labor of their hands, hearts and minds across the centuries.
