“I remember him — Theseus — trying to break the chains that held fast his friend, to take him back with him from the Underworld. But it can’t be done, sir. It can’t be done.”
— The Invention of Love

The SPRING Reading in our 2023-24 Season.

The Invention of Love
A staged reading of the play by Tom Stoppard

An imaginative exploration of the life and afterlife of A. E. Housman, one of England's favorite poets.
