“There is no reason in losing those plays, there is only erosion.

And erosion you can stop. If you act fast.”
— Act 1, Scene 6

The Book of Will
By Lauren Gunderson

After the death of their friend and mentor, William Shakespeare, two of his friends and fellow actors are determined to compile his plays into a folio and preserve the words that shaped their lives. However, fire, warring publishers, and death make bringing this book to print easier said than done. Amidst the noise and color of 1600s London, this hilarious, heartbreaking and award-winning play by the playwright of Ada and the Engine finds an unforgettable true story of love, loss, and laughter.

For Scoundrels & Scamps ages 12+
