About the Reader

John Keeney is a multidisciplinary artist, active in the theater, music, and visual arts communities in Chicago in the 80s and 90s of the last century. Since then, he’s worked as a teacher, getting his theater fix from writing and directing plays for his students in grades one through eight, and as ever, playing music and making art. John has performed in multiple productions at The S&S, most recently as Bernard in There Is a Happiness That Morning Is.
