The Actor’s Journey:
Finding Your Authentic Self

with Philip G. Bennett, founder of Bennett TheatreLab & Conservatory

The Actor’s Journey: Finding Your Authentic Self

This workshop is intended for performers and public speakers of all levels, ages 18 and older.

Mr. Bennett is one of the leading teachers in the Stanislavsky System and a student of the Moscow Art Theatre émigré director, Sonia Moore. He has refined his teachings over 50+ years of teaching.

Over the course of this introductory session you will explore the nature of art, the essence of the actor and “Self”, and conduct an exercise of self exploration - The Creative Diary. Actors will leave the two part class with a clearer understanding of where you are at in your development as an actor and what you need to work on next.

After a 120 minute larger group session with diagnostic exercises, participants will also receive a small group (2-3 students) session with Mr. Bennett, a 60 minute coaching session tailored to your individual acting questions and needs.

What: One 120 minute full group workshop, with a 60 minute small group (2-3 students) coaching session with Mr. Bennett.
