A Zoom workshop for teens with Scoundrel & Scamp artist Hunter Hnat
This workshop is intended for ages 12 and older.
Friends, actors, young playwrights!!
Are you ready to devise your very own monologue from the comfort and safety of your very own home? The Scoundrel and Scamp Theatre is offering a 9 week workshop for individuals (12-18) with Rogue ensemble member Hunter Hnat to learn, create, and perform original pieces that will culminate into an online show consisting of original monologues performed online.
Students will learn to:
Learn devising and refinement skills.
Participate in and learn about the process of writing a monologue.
Learn acting technique and skills to perform your monologue skillfully.
Learn about structure, dramatic tension & story arc.
Learn to write clearly in your own voice.
Learn how to give and receive effective constructive feedback..
The workshop will be led by Hunter Hnat.
What: 9 classes, March 6th - May 1st on Saturdays from 10am to 11:30am
The work created by the class will be shared in a Virtual Salon in May.
Cost: $125
Hunter Hnat is an actor and teacher, a member of The Rogue ensemble and on staff at The S&S Theatre.
Hunter has been teaching Acting, Singing, and Dancing to Tucson youth since he was a youth himself. Hunter has his BFA in Musical Theatre from The University Of Arizona and since then has performed throughout Tucson at Arizona Theatre Company, The Rogue Theatre, Live Theatre Workshop, Studio Connection and at the Scoundrel & Scamp.
We welcome him back for his second year as an instructor for our scamps.
