Fall Session: September 10, 2022 - November 19th
Spring Session: January 14, 2023 - March 19, 2023
Who: Youth ages 8-18
When: Fall Session on Saturdays, 10:30 - 11:45 AM; September 10 - Nov 19 (no class on October 8 for Fall Break).
Spring Session resumes January 14 with rehearsals from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM and continues until the fully-mounted production the weekend of March 16-19. Note: There will be additional rehearsals scheduled the final two weeks of production in March during evenings and on the weekend.
Cost: $560 for the year (one payment of $180 for fall and one payment of $380 for spring), all materials included.

Step onstage for performance! Scamp Company is the youth ensemble that will mount a full MainStage production. The program begins with a fall workshop in which students will be assigned their role, begin honing their theatrical skills, and begin rehearsing the play. Students will develop their confidence, performance skills, and stage presence. The course will cultivate a sense of dedication to craft, respect for fellow artists, and joy in performing. The fall workshop will lead directly into the spring rehearsals and eventual performance run. New and experienced actors are all welcome!
Scamp Company will be performing The Trial of Loki, by local playwright and educator John Keeney.

Performance skills, including vocal skills and physical presence

An understanding of theatre terms and technologies
